Zeb ([email protected]) 04/01/2012 9:23pm If you ever want to learn more about horses, Mike is your man! I was very impressed with his ability to try to understand the world from a horse's perspective. He has obviously spent a lot of time thinking about animals and animal psychology. No matter what your level of proficiency with horses I can almost guarantee you will learn something new with with every riding session with Mike. Many of his lessons also translate well into lessons for real life.
Horseback riding is a great way to explore some of the offbeat parts of the Dominican Republic, and Mike is a person who can take you there.

Mike,
Thank you for your efforts holding things together at the barn over the past year.
I wish you luck in your next adventure & hope you find happiness.
I enclosed a little extra. I wish it could be more. Also 2 little books that I know I have gotten a lot out of in my life. I know reading is not your favorite passtime but I hope you will enjoy them. And also I hope you keep up your studies & stay in touch with the friends you made here,
In Friendship
Brenda

From: Eve Lyons
Hi Mike,
How are you doing? It is really hot to have to train horses! I just wanted to let you know that Feather is doing really good. Of course, in this heat, I haven't ridden her as much as I should - but when I do, she's really good. My husband says he can't believe how she's settled down!
Anyway, the week I brought her home I rode her 3 times. The first two times just around the paddock to practice her flexing, backup & whoa. All of which she's doing great. The next time I took her out on a little trail ride by herself, & she did great. No bucking or crow hopping - she didn't even spook - she went out by herself with no problem & really seemed to enjoy it! I had her out on another short trail ride - & she did great then, too.
I can't wait 'til it's cooler - to get her out w/my old gaited bombproof pony & get her more experience along the roads & see more things.
So, thanks for training her so good! Tell Brenda I'm very satisfied with Feather.
Thanks again, Eve

To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is written as a source of reference and in appreciation for the positive efforts and and professional standards exhibited by Mr. Michael Neumann while in our employ. His efforts with our stable of riding stock and his willingness to perform all necessary actions to maintain and improve the ranch has been an asset to the management here. Much of his efforts have been in periods of absence of the owners and his ability to work with little or no supervision has been greatly appreciated. We have found Michael to be forthright and honest, and his presence will be missed. We will also miss him as a friend who is always ready with a smile or a story. His abilities with our riding stock and his demeanor with the guests of Mountain-Get-A-Way Cabins will be qualities difficult for us to replace, and we wish Michael the best in future endeavors.
While employed by Mountain-Get-A-Way Cabins, Michael has maintained and refurbished on-site cabins, performing electrical, plumbing, drywall and painting and other construction details necessary to keep the cabins up to our standards. Aside from construction and maintenance details Michael has been responsible for care and training of our riding stock and conducting guided rides on the trails in the Arapaho National Forest. He has also been responsible for care and feeding of all the other creatures present on the ranch.
We feel Michael would be a valuable addition to any organization, and we wouldn't hesitate to re-hire him should he decide to return to the Idaho Springs area.
Feel free to contact us personally.

Letter of Recommendation
Mr. Mike Neumann has been employed from March 2nd through July 22nd by Lari Shea, Owner of Ricochet Ridge Ranch under my supervision as barn manager doing guided trail rides from 1,5 hours to all day trail rides. Horse training, horse meds. As well as both truck and trailer driving and truck repairs fixing fences and all around ranch duties. Mike from the first day to the last did what ever it took to do his job to the best of his ability's always with a smile. Mike has been one of the best seasonal workers during my past 13+ years working here at R.R.R. he's very talented & gifted when working with horses, tacking up, cleaning stalls or whatever he's asked to do with very few if any complaints. I truly do hate to see him leave as we are loosing an honest, hard working horseman.
Happy Trails
